Creative brief

LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

We are a social media agency that is developing a suite of social apps that operate in environments that include Facebook, Twitter and iphone.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

The name of our suite of services is 214 Apps. The logo will be used primarily on a website dedicated to supporting the services.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Our target audience is primarily corporations who are looking for companies to develop web applications for social networking.

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:

We are into minimalist designs. We like simplicity with lots of white space. Fonts that are easily readable on the web, non-traditional and of the web 2.0 flavor will work well. We like the room214.com website, and would like to use the yellow or green in the logo. Note: the logo should include one of the colors used in the room214.com logo but not both.

Up to you regarding color variation, but we are thinking two colors. We are envisioning a logo that has an effective use of gradient without over-doing it. Reflective properties are acceptable only if they are extremely subtle. We are trying to avoid the typical photoshop effects we see with so many logos these days.

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

We are open to designs with or without symbols. If a symbol is used, we typically like it to be worked in very well with the font. We will reject anything that is cliche. What I mean by this is we don't want to see any clip-art-like icons such as globes, gears, compasses, etc. We are looking for something that will work well on the web, and something that would look readable even if it is rendered as very small.
