We are a fresh, naturally-inspired hair care products company developing a new line of products especially for curly hair.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We need an eye-catching logo for our new brand "Curl Culture" that we be used on our packaging - bottles, jars and tubes. This design should have lots of shelf appeal and stand out from the other products just on the strength of its design.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Primarily women (but this should also appeal to men) ages 16-55 who are looking for the newest, coolest product to solve their curly hair problems. We want the customer to see this product as high-end, innovative and fashion-forward, yet natural and fresh.
Also, as the name suggest, this is a multi-cultural product for people of all ethnicities. This customer has curly, wavy, kinky, or spiraled hair and wants to do whatever it takes to make their hair look its absolute best.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
We like the general style of the Body Shop, Fekkai, and Herbal Essesnces. BUT - we're interested in a look that hasn't really been seen before - something with an original flair.
We're open to different fonts and colors - the general look should be high-end and sohphisticated cool.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
We don't like gradients, or cartoonish elements.
Any design elements that suggest "multi-cultural," "textured," "natural," are welcome. This design should be sophisticated. However, it's OK if it has a youthful spirit as long as it doesn't look like it's made for kids.
