LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

EarthSpark International is a US-based non-profit organization that works with local groups and entrepreneurs in rural communities in developing countries. Together with our partners, we solve problems caused by the use of inefficient and dirty energy sources; problems like poverty, illness, death, environmental damage and low levels of education. Our solutions are clean, cost-effective, and based on independent and peer-reviewed research. Most importantly, our solutions are informed by the input of community members.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

EarthSpark International used to be InterIntel (www.interintel.org). InterIntel was originally formed to address different goals prior to our current emphasis. As such, we need a new logo to go with our new name for use on all branding materials and our forthcoming new website (look for a posting after we choose a logo).

The logo should incorporate the name of our organization, EarthSpark International. This may be done by making the logo the name itself (e.g., Google, flickr, CNN), or by creating a graphic to be used in conjunction with stylized text (e.g., Target, Pizza Hut). Note: these are not examples of designs we like; we're just illustrating the possible format of the logo.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

We approach foundations, organizations, governments and corporations on a regular basis to solicit financial or in-kind support and partnerships. We need a logo which communicates not only what we do, but how we do it - professionally, rigorously and equitably.

We like the logos of flickr and bp. The idea of a nice, brightly colored geometric logo is interesting. We're looking for clean lines and something modern looking.
