Creative brief

The buyer added updates to the brief. Read them.

LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

What We Do: tyinternety.cz is going to be a new B2B news server about central and eastern european internet market

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

1) header
- logo (please use the one without the slogan) + logo can be customized
- search box (we are going to use google´s customized search engine)
- menu with 6 - 8 items (please use lorem ipsum, we have to finalize names sections)
- subscription and contact options (please use icons): rss, facebook, twitter, email, youtube
- login box + registration link (it´s not obligatory where the login box gonna be - if it fits within your design somewhere else beside header, it´s ok too)

2) footer
- logos of our partners
- links to contact informations
- copyright information
- privacy statement

3) banners
- there must be these mandatory banner spaces:
- two banners 300x300px
- four banners 125x125px within one box (as seen e.g. on techcrunch.com). The box will be named:"Our sponsors"
- 2-4 sponsored messages (advertisement with picture 60x60px and 200 characters of text)
- promo box for job advertisement 300x200px (just use gray box - design will be done by the job advertising company)
- leaderboard (745x100) - could be above the whole page design, or in the header beside the logo (as seen e.g. on mashable.com)


4) articles
- one big opening article (with bigger image, bigger title and opening text)
- 14-20 other articles - each article has title, perex (opening text max to 200 characters), name of the column to which it belongs, date (without time), image (with proportion dimensions to the opening image), "read more" link

5) promo boxes
- promo box for a directory of internet subject - with a search box and last 5 new submissions (only title)
- promo box for featured article (picture, title, opening text and "read more" link)
- promo box for featured video (the same - picture, title, opening text and "read more" link)
- promo box for snapshots/researches (box called "Snapshot", within the box is title + chart)

In general:

We want site design that will be as clean and as simple as possible. We also want to be perceived as creditable, strong and prestigious.

We want the site design width of 1100px - our target group do not use any old resolutions and we want some space for all that promotions and feeatures that will come in the future.

Site we love:
We really appreciate design of the web http://www.symmetrymagazine.org
We love the simplicity, lucidity and the way of doing promoboxes. On the other hand, we think it is maybe a little boring.

We also like the way what http://www.wired.com is doing - especially, we like the way it is so different from every other magazines.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

marketing and media guys, creatives looking for an inspiration, students of digital media studies, internet enterpreneurs

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

Wants:
1. mandatories are the banners
2. simple, clean, creditable, but not boring webdesign

Don’t wants:
1. any flash animations
2. tiny, small and hardly to read fonts
