LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

Infinite Runners is a web site for runners that provides a simple and easy way for any runner to organize and share their running life. Our tagline is "Running Life. Simplified." The goal of the site is to become the largest online social running site in the world.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We need a logo that can be used near the top left corner of our interface design. It should be horizontal in design to allow it to fit within our given space. The logo will appear on a white background on all pages throughout the site. Note that the logo could ultimately be used for print applications such as stationary, t-shirts and on various marketing collateral.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

The audience for this site will be both male and female ages 20-55. The tone of the site is listed in this order: Personal, Clean and Fun.

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:

I am not going to share any specific designs but rather give some guidance on what I would like to see. Note that these are only suggestions and if you feel strongly about something not noted (such as a serif font) then please include as an option.

Font: I feel that the font should be sans serif. Possibly even an italic font to convey motion.

Color: The site currently uses a color scheme of dark blue, royal blue, black and a soft gray. I feel the logo should be made up of the two blues but I am open to options. Note that the lighter blue or secondary color needs to be able to stand on its own as we will use it for text in the site. I do feel pretty strongly that at least one color needs to be the dark blue.

Style: The text of the two words could be used in the following ways:
Infinite Runners
InfiniteRunners (where color or boldness differentiates the words)
infinite runners
infiniterunners (where color or boldness differentiates the words)

I am open to an icon that accompanies the text or simply the logo as a logotype. An obvious icon that could be used is an infinite loop but it should be unique in its application and tie back to runners in some way. Do not feel like you have to use that but I did want you to know that if used it needs to be well incorporated into the logo.



WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

The only thing I don't want to see is your typical runner icon (circle head, angled body in runner pose) that has been used all over and especially on high school track & field shirts, which is not our target audience.
