LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

I currently own and operate the website www.simplybabyblankets.com. We manufacture and sell large over sized swaddling blankets for newborns. We recently had to shut down earlier this year because of concern over the new lead testing laws, but I am about to reopen and focus more on wholesaling my blankets to other websites and to B&M retailers and hospitals. The blankets will be wholesaled under the trade name "Grandma's Biggie Blankets". I will be creating a product homepage for the new wholesale business that is separate from my first website.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

I need a logo for Grandma's Biggie Blankets
.
The logo will be used on the website in full color, and then printed in monochrome on the blanket labels and care tags. The labels are 3" x 1.25" and sewn flat onto the corner of the blanket (see this photo for a picture of the label location: http://www.simplybabyblankets.com/files/BIGbloc...). The care tags are standard business card size (3.5 x 2) and printed on front and back and temporarily fastened to the blankets when sold using a hang tag.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Anyone buying blankets or gifts for newborns and mothers. Because our blankets are larger and more expensive and use nice fabrics, it's something of a luxury product. Ergo, yuppie moms (Pottery Barn and Children's Place types) are our most likely customer.

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:

I am very open to any concepts. Generally, the entire name of the product (business name) needs to be clearly stated, although I would like to somehow include a simplified image of a swaddled baby or a blanket somewhere, either in place of a letter or two or as a background image.
.
The font needs to be soft and "kid friendly".
.
As far as colors, I am also open, although it needs to be something neutral (brown or lime green or lilac or lemon) or pink and blue need to be used together if at all. Remember that regardless of the color, I will also need a monochrome image that can be printed on items away from the website.

I am sorry that I made a mistake. The term I meant to use was "line art" and monochrome. The logo will be woven into a satan label (at this point it's going to be white on chocolate brown), so it will need to be easily transformable that way. Thanks.
