In fact crowdSpring crew wrote me that withdrawing my entries make impossible the comparison between yours and mine and that's a way they can´t take part. I´ve retired from this project accepting consequences so you´re not obliged to withdrawn your entry. I was thinking for last two days if i might report ... (more)

I was thinking for last two days if i might report the violation or not, and of course i don´t know what's on the mind of the rest of the creatives when they upload entries so closer to others ("i had same idea of you" could be true ...or just the fastest excuse) but i´m a little tired of watching how this situation repeats in more and more projects. This is not against you, or at least not against only you. This was just writing in public what many creatives think when we saw this kind of things. I didn´t write about this situation until it isn´t reached me but if you go to the community forum you´ll see there are many conversations around this.

In fact i think there's a buyer's responsibilty on this. I wrote about this yet. If the buyer votes and comments entries that are basically alike doesn´t respect the first creative who has the idea and tries to develop a creative solution. The brief said "i´m open to possibilities" and that makes the action-readius for us very very large. The first thing i do when i´m thinking about to participate in a determinate project is to see how are the rest of the entries, if they are. But this is to think and create something apart. Even if i feel the idea of other creative it's correct i always try to think in a better way to comunicate it.

As you may have noticed, this was my first entry on this website, I didn't know the buyer could give feedback on specific entries. Now that I have read the buyers comment on your entry I see that my entry resembles that description.
If it makes any difference I'd like to explain my thoughts behind the logo:
In the project details the buyer explained not wanting a logo with a flame or anyting like that. This lead me to the thought of light. For me, basic light is white. I know this white light consists of three primairy colors etc etc. Also, light is what the project is about, not flames or anything like that. My general style is very simple and slick, that is how I came up with this logo. This may be unfortunate concerning your entry and it's comments, but it seems that the buyer and I have the same ideas about certain aspects.

As I've said earlier, I saw your entry before I posted mine, but I didn't think this was copy-catting since using the same principle is very common when it comes to a certain subject. E.g. I'm seeing a lot of flames. Did everyone copy those from the first entry containing a flame?

For now, I'd like to apologize. If you'd like, I'll withdraw my entry so you can upload yours again, because I believe, whomever came up with the concept, deserves a shot at the price.

little bit annoying..as concept clear and match, the designer free use own previous logogram as that own design..not copied from another designers.

In my first entry a received a very useful feedback from you. I can accept you didn´t like the next entry i created from this feedback. But i cannot accept you voted and commented an entry that it's clearly a copy of my previous ideas, based clearly on that feedback you provided for my entry. I cannot accept that. And that's why i have reported the violation to the cS crew and the comments here.

All i can say is sorry if i´m making trouble and i hope you understand me.

Retiring your projects is your choice, but I do not appreciate your implication that I support copycat entries. To be clear, I am not interested in copycat work of a derivative nature. I support the creative process and the creativity of this design community. I can assure you that the award will be made to an original and novel design.

@dorian4point, @denilicious: This comments can be applied to you as well. You are copying repeatdly and mockingly the entry of Raoul_Camion. I don´t understand what are you doing here apart from being poor copycats, specially you denilicious: You copy even you. Remember this? http://www.crowdspring.com/projects/graphic_design/logo/italian_rice_producer_logo/gallery/cascina_mafiossa. Find the 8 differences between this and your first entry here.

Think about this next time you use the "I created all the stuff in my entry all by myself." disclosure. Here are creatives that are making efforts to be original and this kind of things simply makes me feel sick.
