Creative brief

LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

BidAlpha is a startup in the online advertising space. We will be providing a unified media buying platform across multiple ad exchanges and ad networks for display media buyers (i.e., companies or agency buying ad inventory to run banner ads).

Comparable companies: MediaMath.com, InviteMedia.com, Efficient Frontier (efrontier.com), RedBricksMedia.com.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

This project will be to design our first logo that will be initially used for business card and placeholder landing page.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

B2B. Target audience are potential partners in the display advertising space (e.g., ad networks, ad exchanges), advertisers, and ad buyers (both direct and agencies). Key concepts: simple, clean, new, web 2.0-ish...our business will be about pulling together a lot of different players in the ad buying space to create a simple, intuitive, yet powerful, unified ad buying platform.

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:

ClearSpring.com logo. We like the blue and gray (we want "bid" and "alpha" to be in different colors if the logo will have these two words not separated by a space).

Weblogs, Inc. (weblogsinc.com) Very simple, but clean. Like the different colors of Weblogs and Inc.

Efficient Frontier (efrontier.com).

We generally prefer thicker, san serif fonts. Good colors include blue, gray, light orange, black.

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

the first "a" in "alpha" would ideally be the Greek letter alpha.

Not all caps.
