We are launching an exciting new wireless technology this fall in the category of "smart lost and found" technologies. Our technology will help save the lives of millions of dogs and cats but also prevent the theft of millions of other things people love and rely upon every day. We need a new name for this product.

Update 3-Jun-13 GMT
Hi everyone,

The team here would like to extend the deadline but also up the reward $. In short, even though we've received some great submissions via Crowdspring but also have received ideas from several ad agency types who are either advisors or contractors for Haystack, the consensus here is that we haven't found the "brilliant" name for the product -- yet.

But we know it's out there.

Also -- and please don't send hate mail for this! -- we would like to change the requirement of "URL availability- nice to have" to "URL availability - must have". This ended up figuring into our thinking, as did name availability with the trademark office (USPTO) and to a lesser extent, the Apple App Store. But the URL seems to be good proxy for whether the other two are available.

We realize we probably look like obsessing expectant parents but ... we know this is an important technology and that the product deserves a name that matches its importance.

Thanks,

Pat
