CoinPlay is a full service vending operator specializing in the sourcing, placement, and servicing of educational entertainment coin funnels for people of all ages. Specifically we buy, place, and operate vortex coin funnels in high foot traffic areas such as malls, museums, movie theaters, etc for the general public to enjoy.

How many pages of print design do you need?

Just one page should be sufficient for the content and we were thinking on the back side of the flyer we could have our logo and tagline

List the size requirement(s) for your print design

We're thinking of just having this be a one page flyer 8.5' x 11'. We are however open to creative non-standard ways of using this one page so that it stands out even more. Since our funnels are all about small change we thought maybe there would be some way to incorporate small change like pennies or nickels into the flyer somehow since we won't really be handing out too many of these anyway. Just a thought and we are open to any other creative non-standard ideas.

Describe the target audience for your print design

The target audience for our flyer are the owners, managers, and corporations that manage the locations where we would like to PLACE our machines. The key to our success lies in convincing mall operators and other business operators to agree to let us place our funnels in their locations in exchange for a revenue share and other shared benefits such as charity associations and entertainment for their patrons.

I would expect these managers and operators to be well educated, ranging in age from 30 - 50+, have experience managing real-estate leasing or retail establishments, and their primary interest in dealing with us will be how CoinPlay can benefit their businesses' bottom line.

What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your print design?

This was our general layout idea. We are open to reorganization of some of these points however.

* Monetize unused space with no incremental cost

What print design styles do you like?

Since our audience is a professional audience our style should reflect what they want which is a clear, simple, and effective way for us to communicate to them what key benefits we offer.

Therefore the design should be clean, simple, elegant, and to the point. We tried to embody these characteristics in our logo design so we want our flyer to reflect those same characteristics.

At the same time since our product revolves somewhat around fun, we are also open to having a little bit of fun with the design, again like we did with our logo which hints at the "fun" aspects of the service.

What colors do you want to see in your print design?

Probably would make sense to use our logo colors or a color palette that complements the logo.

What colors do you NOT want to see in your print design?

Colors that don't complement the logo.

When we set up meetings with potential locations we will use the flyer as a leave-behind and also as a way to follow along with the key points that we will be presenting.

We think this content from above is our core benefit proposition that we want to communicate. You can take a little creative liberty with some of this content so long as the key points remain.

Visually speaking we are hesitant to use any actual funnel images since we are still a start-up and don't own any funnels ourselves just yet. The only images we have of funnels are from the manufacturers and we don't want to be tied to any one manufacturer just yet. Perhaps there is an abstract way to do the images if necessary for the flyer to stand out more. We are attaching some real funnel images as EXAMPLES but we do not want these actual images in our design.


Please NOTE: We uploaded our logo both with and without the tagline. The one without the tagline has the correct color palette. I believe the cp_detials file has the color palette details necessary.

IMPORTANT UPDATE:

This is for all existing submissions and future submissions. After seeing some of the entries we realized that our prose was too long and perhaps not focused enough so we've tried to condense it down to just 3 main sections which are more direct and effective we think.

HOWEVER, we love that some of you have interjected some ideas for how to further reduce and/ or slightly condense these sections so if you see a good opportunity to condense we are open to suggestions. We are open to title changes on some of the sections as well.

Here is the new and improved content:


SECTION 1 (this is essentially our mission statement but the section TITLE could probably be one of a few options...)
"Our Mission", "Who we are", "Why CoinPlay" (please feel free to use your own title)

* CoinPlay helps retail and public locations attract more customers and boost revenue through our distinctive, educational entertainment coin funnels that provide fun for all ages. With each funnel CoinPlay also focuses on building good-will by donating a portion of revenue to local charities.

SECTION 2:

* Coin Funnels create a unique draw differentiating your location
* Coin Funnels are effective advertising opportunities for a captive audience


SECTION 3 (we want this section to act as a disproportionate comparison between what the customer gives us and all the things they get in return for so little. This section would potentially look good side by side since there is so much more in the "get" section. Hence the two titles "You give us" and "And you get." Other titles welcome here as well. )
