How many pages of print design do you need?

2

List the size requirement(s) for your print design

(1) The first page of the print design should be a cover page for a project proposal. Constant and Associates (C&A) is celebrating its 10th anniversary, and we need an 8.5x11 cover design that incorporates our logo. I have attached various versions of our company logo - we would like a new logo that showcases our 10th anniversary, such as a banner or other design across/behind our logo that says "Celebrating 10 Years" or "Celebrating its 10th Anniversary" or something similar. In addition to the logo, the cover page should have some type of nice design that incorporates our company color (PMS 295 - blue). It should feature a title that says "Los Angeles Emergency Operations Center Functional Exercise" and should have a section that says "Submitted to:" followed by placeholders for a name, department name, and address. It should also have a section that says "Submitted by:" followed by placeholders for a name, company name, and address. For example:

Submitted to:
[Name]
[Department]
[Address]
[Address Line 2]

The date should also be somewhere on the cover page design.

(2) The second page of print design should be an interior page for this same proposal (size 8.5x11). It should have a similar look and feel to the cover page, although will have a different format. It should have a header, sub-header, and a table. There should be some paragraph text somewhere on the page, as well as a "call out box" - which is simply a text box that highlights special text to catch the eye on the page. Please put the page number on the page. Additional design features could be incorporated into the interior page if you wish, such as the title of the document in the header, and/or our company website or logo somewhere on the page, etc.

Both of these design pages should be submitted in Microsoft Word format. The logo should be submitted as a separate high-resolution picture, preferably in .psd format.

What is your industry?

Consulting and Professional Services

Describe the target audience for your print design

The print design will be submitted to government agencies and nonprofit organizations for which our company is applying for a project/contract. When organizations release a "Request for Proposal," our company submits a proposal to that project in hopes of being selected for the project. Our company is excited to be celebrating its 10th anniversary and would like this showcased on our proposals.

What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your print design?

1) 10th Anniversary
2) Professionalism
3) Graphically pleasing

What print design styles do you like?

Something that is graphically pleasing to the eye and modern-looking and professional; however, we do not want it to be too busy.

What colors do you want to see in your print design?

Our company blue should be the primary color: PMS 295 (cmyk = c-100, m-57, y-0, k-40; rgb = r-0, g-68, b-124)

Other company colors that could be used subtly: Red PMS 1805, Orange PMS 166, Blue PMS 313, Yellow PMS 116, and/or shades of grey.

I want to reiterate that we do not want it to be too busy-looking with too many colors. The first Blue PMS 295 color should be the primary color.

What colors do you NOT want to see in your print design?

We do not want anything excessively artsy because it needs a professional feel (slightly artsy is good).

What adjectives should best describe your print design?

10th Anniversary
Professional
Graphically pleasing

How will you use the print design?

We will use the print design to apply for contracts and secure work/projects for our company.

What content must be included in the print design?

Already stated above-
Cover page: logo, title, "Submitted to:" and "Submitted by:"
Interior page: header, sub-header, table, callout box, page number

Brief updates

I forgot to mention in the project description that our company font is Century Gothic. Please only use this font, unless a header looks better in a different font or something, but all other font should be Century Gothic.
