Creative brief

The buyer added updates to the brief. Read them.

Business Name

breeba

What do you do?

breeba is much more than an IT consulting firm and IT service provider. We're an innovator in the areas of customer focus, quality, and environmental responsibility.

How many pages of print design do you need?

3-4

List the size requirement(s) for your print design

11" x 17"

What is your industry?

Software and InfoTech

Describe the target audience for your print design

Basically, anyone that watches "Mad Men" will understand the appeal of the 1940-1960s era design. We're seeing a resurgence of the styles and motifs used in vintage advertising, and it has an effective visual impact.

What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your print design?

We want to subtly pay tribute to our predecessors through the incorporation of our logo in a vintage-styled poster to be used as in-office branding/decor.

We are a company that provides solutions for modern technology, but we feel nostalgic with respect to the "Golden Era" of the 1940-1960s and the high-tech, modern image that was communicated in the advertising of that time.

We want to enhance our in-office branding with something a bit different, that evokes the classiness, the "promise of the modern future", and the style of the 1940s-1960s era.

What print design styles do you like?

Basically, something exactly like this: http://www.hongkiat.com/blog/vintage-advertisem...

What colors do you want to see in your print design?

Slightly muted colours that are representative of 1940s through 1960s print advertising. The ad should look aged, have a hand-drawn quality, and not appear that it was designed on a computer.

What colors do you NOT want to see in your print design?

Anything that looks too new or computer-generated. Not that we don't like the 80s, but hot pink and neon green probably won't work for this particular project.

What adjectives should best describe your print design?

vintage advertising, mid-century modern, mad men era

How will you use the print design?

The designs will be printed to poster-size and hung on the walls of our office.

What content must be included in the print design?

Our company name (breeba), logo, and the tag line "repair is green".
Our tagline and company name may be written in a stylized vintage font suitable to the design.

Hi all,

We just wanted to let you know that the buyer in this project has requested a refund. And, because we offer buyers a money back guarantee, sometimes we have to make good on that promise.

To reward the loyal creatives who worked hard on this project and all the others on the site, we've taken the proceeds from this project and used them to fund our monthly cS Awards program. The cS Awards are issued every month based on varying criteria but are a simple way that we give back to the community and reward our creatives.

Thanks so much for participating and see you around the site,

The cS crew
