[Sub Title]
One Man’s Journey from the Depths of
Sexual Addiction to Freedom

[Author]
Dann Aungst

[Back cover copy]
From One Addict to Another is the brave retelling of one man’s experience with sexual addiction. The author, who feels called by God to share his personal story in order to help other sex addicts as well as strengthen his own recovery, describes a childhood of pain and loneliness that left him aching for wholeness; his awakening sexuality and the false promises of fulfillment it offered; and his descent into a life of lies and compulsive, out-of-control behavior that nearly destroyed his marriage and life. When the consequences of his altered reality begin to unfold, Aungst attempts to find help, if only to appease his loved ones as first. Then, guided by supportive friends and community, he encounters Jesus and begins the long and arduous climb out of this destructive way of life and toward true recovery. He begins healing and building a life centered around a relationship with God—a life where he finally finds the love to fill the void in his soul. Includes concrete advice and tips for other men struggling with sex addiction from someone who has been there himself. This is a compelling story of pain and despair, hope and surrender—a must-read for anyone dealing with the devastation of sexual addiction.

Dann Aungst is an entrepreneur and recovering sex addict.

Who are your readers?

the book is for anyone struggling with sex addiction. the book is structured primarily for men.

What 3 things would you like to communicate to your readers with this design?

I'm open to this for the most part. the only idea I had was an image I had in my mind of 2 men talking or sharing their emotional pain but with a sense of trust and safety. not sure if this can be accomplished in a book cover but is the only idea I had and by no means is set as a requirement. Please be creative in ideas for the cover.

The overall message of the book is that if you struggle in this area that you are not alone, there is help and life beyond the shame. - again, I understand it may be a difficult concept to communicate in a book cover. but if it helps for inspiration. great. if not, show me what you think it should be.

NOTE: Please leave space for a 2" by 1.2" white box in the lower right-hand corner of the book's back cover for the ISBN barcode. Images or text in the barcode location will be covered when the book is printed. Make sure you don't have any important elements where the barcode will be placed.
