NoVA Christian Film
Following America's economic collapse, resources are scarce, and a violent gang of Scorchers terrorizes the land and preys on the weak. A small group of survivors taking refuge in an old farmhouse finds a helpless stranger with chained hands lying unconscious on a nearby dirt road and decide to take him in – despite warnings from Jack (Josh Murray), their head of security, who discovers the Scorchers’ mark on the stranger’s neck. As Jack struggles with maintaining order – and surviving a lethal leg wound – his housemates confront the Scorchers in the woods and discover the stranger’s secret, which could help save Jack’s life.
Anyone who likes post-apocalyptic films, specifically faith-based films.
Hope in the middle of tragedy.
Hospitality in a cold world.
Surviving the apocalypse.
Earthy (farm land) greens and browns, or the grey of cold dirt roads and woods in winter
Modern. Examples include covers of "28 Days Later" (except making use of the "Scorchers" symbol from our film) and "Cloverfield" (except use a destroyed Washington, DC background as the story takes place outside of DC). Please note that the title of the film is: Settled -- not NoVA Christian Film presents Settled. For some reason, the site won't let me use a name that short for the DVD title. Be sure to view our short film for ideas... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ejIf5BlLiog
"NoVA Christian Film" logo (can be on the back cover)
