Business Name

Always Money (logo not to be included in the creative)

What do you do?

We are a twenty year old company that provides money to people in need of immediate or short term financial help (most are locked out of traditional lending with banks). We make loans in a welcoming, repectful, trustworthy, honest, caring and dependable environment. Specifically, we offer money to customers via title loans, cash advances, short term installment loans, cash checks and buy gold. We plan to reward our customers with payment for referring their friends to us. We conduct business with our customers in a fresh and meaningful way. Our core customers are adults 25-49 years of age, teachers, nurses, service level and professional working Americans living in the southeast US. They generally need $150 to $5000 to overcome life's financial rough spots so today's small challenges don't become tomorrow's nightmares. They are value minded (Walmart shoppers) interested in sports, family, God and community.

How many pages of print design do you need?

5 pages - 1 Poster, 3 related flyer handouts, 1 envelope

List the size requirement(s) for your print design

24"x 36" poster size; handouts no larger than 3" x 3"; 4 1/8" x 9 1/2" envelope

What is your industry?

Financial Services

Describe the target audience for your print design

Current and past customers - we want to create a program that will reward them with money for sending friends to us so that we may help their friends with their financial needs. If we do a loan with their friend, we will send a reward package to our stores for them to pick up. Our store employees will also give handouts to our customers at the counter and the in store poster will "tease" the Send-a-Friend concept. The handouts need to be attractive to our current and past customers and also be something that a potential customer would be willing to bring with them to the store.

What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your print design?

Our customers have lots of friends.
Our team can help your friends when they need a loan.
Tell lots of friends so you can make lots of money.

What print design styles do you like?

We are not creatives but we envision an old-school movie poster (like the 50 foot woman or a spaceship alien invasion or creature from the black lagoon) that shows many oddities the closer you get...the more you see. So the overall theme from the poster to the handouts tie together. We are not stuck on the movie theme per se but that is one path we thought about. We are very open to packages that will resonate with everyday, real people in a fun and sustainable manner. In other words we want to have many paths to take it as the program is envisioned to remain and build as the company grows. So give us your wild ideas, we will like them too.

What colors do you want to see in your print design?

All colors accpetable.

What colors do you NOT want to see in your print design?

All colors acceptable.

What adjectives should best describe your print design?

eye-catching
unique
fun
clever

How will you use the print design?

We want our customer to understand that they can refer a friend to us and earn money. Our customers will get a envelope with handouts in the mail. They may take the handouts to new potential customers (friends) and the friend will give or tell us that they were sent to us by the existing customer when they come to get a loan. We want to help our customer send friends to us (and earn money for doing so) and by giving them cool cards with their name and phone on it, we believe this will help them do so. It is easier for them to hand something to a friend than to just spontaneously talk about our stores.
We plan to use elements of the poster for the handouts and possibly create future mini-commercial spots in our tv broadcasts in the stores.

What content must be included in the print design?

Handouts - must have a space for name and phone # to be written on each card. It may say " I am a friend of ______(name), ___________(phone)." Should suggest a way to earn big rewards.
Poster - must say "send-a-friend".
Envelope - should suggest a way to earn big rewards.

Brief updates

For anyone that wants to get a feel for who we are to our customers today, you may visit our website : alwaysmoney.com. We have been in business for over thirty five years and are honest, trustworthy, friendly, reliable and fun.

For the send-a-friend project here, we want a different look and feel. So, we do not want to include our logos or the existing creative approaches. We are open to any look and feel, fonts, etc. Good luck everyone and thanks for the feedback and can't wait to see your submissions.
11-Mar-13 2:21 p.m. GMT
We believe it necessary to extend the deadline for this project. Early feedback suggests that we were a bit aggressive in our timeline given the scope of this project. We want to give everyone an additional week to provide their submissions.
13-Mar-13 5:18 a.m. GMT
We wanted everyone to know that we will start the program paying $50 for each friend that our current customers sends to us that we do a new loan. So, that could be used on the poster....probably not on the handouts as those will be handed from the existing customer to the friend.
