How will you use the print design?

The document will be a disaster planning guide for Los Angeles hospitals, and the powerpoint will be used to present the guide to a select audience.

What content must be included in the print design?

We are developing a disaster guide to describe how local hospitals should activate and operate a Family Information Center within their facility to provide information and support services to families whose loved ones may have been victims of a disaster. We are seeking a document cover design for the guide (preferably in Microsoft Word), ideas for content design (preferable in Microsoft Word), and a layout for a powerpoint (powerpoint design must align with document design). The document content must be graphically pleasing and easy to follow, and any pictures/graphics used should incorporate concepts such as hospitals, children, family reunification or consoling. The design should also indicate that it is a Los Angeles project - such as by using an outline of LA County with a collage of photos in it, depicting freeways, palm trees, etc. Note: A main color should be the shade of blue indicated above (PMS 295). The design should be "clean"'/"modern". Below are links to sample designs that appeal to us. Two logos should be incorporated onto the document cover design and powerpoint presentation, and will be provided once the artist is selected.
