Description

This is a re-release movie from the 90's before DVD were available, so it's important to have a modern movie sleeve. We lost most of the original photos from the shoot, so I have limited images available. The viliain in the film is a tall man with a crinoline skirt on his head that carries a large butcher knive, so maybe even some photo/animated drawing creations or your own interpretation of the killer would be great. the backstory on the character is as a child, he and his mother were at a secluded lake house...she dies and he is left along with her dead, and has to end up eating her to survive. The crinoline skirt his mother was using to make a doll with was his new security blanket. he wore it on his head to hide the shame and hurt...he is now out and mad and menacing!

Horror movie fans. Teen and young adults.

What 3 things would you like to communicate to your viewers with this design?

Scary, spooky, exciting. Even though this is a slasher movie, much like Friday the 13th, I want some modern touches to the artwork, like the Twilight films, to attract a younger teen audience..while still getting across horror and screaming and scary!

This image needs to make the person want to buy or rent this movie. Since it's a re-release, no publicity or stars, the first impression is important. Something that jumps off the shelf or out of the screen at you that says, that looks like a movie I want to see!

Remember, the movie is also tongue in cheek and sort of a comedy as well...not just horror.
