What do you do?

Boring is a B2B company that markets, manages and supports output devices (printers and copiers) which is generally referred to as Managed Print Services.

However we just acquired a local Network Services (IT Company) firm who manages networks, workstations, security, etc. for mid-market firms in this area.

In our industry many Managed Print Services centric providers are moving into Network Services and the combined services are generally referred to as Managed Services which means we managed our customers’ networks, printers, scanners and copiers.

How many pages of print design do you need?

We would like three different ads - same type of message just three different looks/versions

What is your industry?
We are generally referred to as being a copier company and industry but because we manage as many printers as we do copiers our industry is now often referred to as a Managed Print Services industry.

B2B Company’s such as medical, legal, insurance and any mid-market size firms (10 – 100 employees with a desk and computer) in Central Florida with a focus on Polk, Hillsborough, Highlands and Hardee County, FL.

What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your print design?

1. Now that we also offer Managed Services which includes Network Services and Managed Print Services we need to create competitive advantage copy that separates us from the firms who are only Managed Print Services providers (copier companies).
2. We can provide “complete” Managed Services to our customers, resulting in their only having one company to call for their network, printer and copier needs rather than 2 or 3 firms to contact.
3. We are the only locally owned provider of “complete” Managed Services and therefore we are more accountable to our customers than our multi-billion $ competitors. We are LOCAL! When you call our number you reach someone locally that can assist you.

What print design styles do you like?

We want clean copy and not a lot of clutter while having fun with our name which is almost a household name due to our 88 years in business. (see attached ads for prior image)

What colors do you want to see in your print design?

Our logo colors are blue (PMS 300) and Grey (PMS 7545) However, we are open to any colors

I've attached a copy of our logo and two prior ads from when we offered Managed Print Services (which is different than Managed Services we are now looking for). It will give you an idea of the prior "look" as well as to let you know to have FUN with the ad. With a name like "Boring" you've got to take the name and run with it.

Sorry guys - new twist

We would also like to steer away from verbiage stating IT is "new" to Boring. In other words instead of saying something like "Boring Business systems now provides the complete managed services" it could read "Boring Business Systems -- for COMPLETE Managed Services" or something so it doesn't appear as if we have no experience in the field.
