What do you do?
We are the world leader in the exciting convergence of beer drinking and exercise equipment. Our first patent pending product is a beer mug with a grip exerciser attached to and part of the beer mug handle. We have solved the age old problem of having to choose between chillin' with a cold one or going to the gym. Our second version of our product, just in time for St. Patrick's Day, is The Irish Gym.
How many pages of print design do you need?
Just one. This is going to be a clear plastic label that wraps around the beer mug sitting on the retailer's shelf.
List the size requirement(s) for your print design
The beer mug label is 4.25 inches (10.5cm) tall and 11 inches (38.5 cm) long that wraps around the top of the beer mug. Therefore the first 5 inches (12.5 cm) is the front and the last 5 inches (12.5 cm) is the rear of the mug. The mug itself is 3.62 inches (9.2 cm) in diameter, and 6 .75 inches (17 cm) tall. The label will be the entire packaging for the mug.

Describe the target audience for your print design
Any Irish loving fan of the Emerald Isle who is young at heart and wants to have a drink and work out at the same time. Our guess is red blooded young men between the ages of 18 and 40 are the primary group of athletes we are targeting.
What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your print design?
The current paradigm that a young lad celebrating St. Patty's day can't get a good workout and have a cold pint at the same time is a myth. The Irish now have a home gym just for them! Revel in St. Patty's day while you are working on your six-pack.
What print design styles do you like?
Something BOLD, inspirational, fun and playful. And GREEN of course. We love leprechauns!
What colors do you want to see in your print design?
Green! The gripper handle in the Irish Gym will be green, not red as in our first version.
What colors do you NOT want to see in your print design?
Fuchsia, pink, and of course NO ORANGE!
What adjectives should best describe your print design?
Irreverently funny and silly, and Irish.
How will you use the print design?
It is going to wrap around the mug and be both the front and back packaging of the mug. The mug will pique their curiosity, the label must close the deal. See www.mugmuscles.com for inspiration, and the uploaded art.
What content must be included in the print design?
The trademarked words, "The Irish Gym" or "Irish Gym", and in small print at the back bottom "Mug Muscles" with a trademark symbol. We have attached artwork form our first version of this product, the Mug Muscles mug.

Time to be silly!
The typical cartoon character of a leprechaun for St. Patrick's Day is a wee man dressed in green with a green hat with a buckle on it, covering the leprechaun's red hair. It is also customary to have elements of gaelic or celtic border work or knots and three or four leaf clovers, and of course, booze. We want a happy leprechaun, as this is a happy silly holiday. The joke of the product is that the Irish are renown for their drinking prowess, and that we have finally created a piece of exercise equipment, a home gym if you will, they can call their own.
