On the 22nd of November 1963, the entire world learned that President John F. Kennedy had been assassinated in Dallas, Texas. At the same time, the closest and most influential White House members head quickly to the Situation Room where already gathered are Robert F. Kennedy, Martin Luther King Jr. and...President John F. Kennedy who will learn in disbelief that his security stand-in had been assassinated live on television - the whole world is in mourning.
Since the President was not even in Dallas and to ensure his safety, it is out of the question to reveal that it was in fact a double. Since his arrival in Texas, his lookalike had given some speeches, interviews and participated in meetings, all of which exceeded considerably the notion of presidential tours.
Moreover, with the President having stayed in Washington, the inevitable question would be whether this was the first time that this had been done, and if not under what other circumstances had this situation taken place. In short, how long had the President been deceiving the American people? In the moments following his assassination, John Kennedy will understand that his presidency is over and that he was now faced with the choice of being disgraced or honoured in history.
All the conspiracy theories put forward will always lead back to members of the Chicago mafia. And yet, the strings for this event were being pulled much further south. Kennedy, still alive, will be driven by one motive only: to not just find who assassinated him, but more importantly, to understand why someone wanted to eliminate him, all while doing everything to protect himself against a second assassination attempt.

New perspective on a real story
Fiction can sometime be closer than reality
There are always two sides of a story
I don't have a color that I would not want to see.
I like modern style, especially for that kind of story. A 50 years old events presented in a new perspective, so I want the readers feel that this is a new thing, even if the story is from the past.
I like paperback cover with matt lamination plus spot UV
