I designed this entry to load with usability and SEO in mind.
1. The two fonts used, Helvetica and Georgia, are both browser recognized fonts. Additionally, as they would be specified via CSS, they could be changed to any browser-recognized font.
2. The entire structure of the site would be easily governed by CSS.
3. There is only one background image, which would create the gradient blue of the main display area. All other colors would be coded via CSS, which would enable rapid load of the pages.
4. I understood that the majority of your prospective clients would be callers, so I placed the contact form directly above the footer.
5. All instances of the firm's name can be coded as text. As a developer who deals with SEO issues on a regular basis, I placed the firm's name frequently. Additionally ALL text on page is code-able.
6. Button mouseovers, and transitions for the display image, can be animated with Javascript instead Flash, further limiting strain on the browser.
