I placed a picture of the namesake as a faded background image, however any image could be used, and as it would be specified by a value in the body area of the CSS, it could be changed on a whim.
The design is full of whitespace as the textual content should be easily focussed upon by the viewer.
The design is full browser, measuring 990 pixels wide, but appears to have large margins only because of the mandatory 800x800 requirements here. During actual use, it would have practically no margins in the browser.
It is designed for SEO optimization with all links placed as pure text, customizable by CSS, and could be coded for ease in W3C compliance.
It is completely original except for the 2 background photos. I didn't include a search field, but could place one if requested.
