Logo design for a web 2.0 services website that claims to double your productive effort or "double you". I took a slightly different approach by taking "Yuu" as the core element of the design and thinking through different approaches to interpret those three letters. I settled on a "tao" theme to convey a timeless design which was one of the elements the project creator wanted. Going from there, I manipulated shapes to achieve all three letters superimposed on each other forming half of and "ying/yang"-like symbol. By putting the two halves together, I had a full circle. I incorporated the 'Y' from the symbol into the text of the logo and arranged the two 'u's to achieve one 'u' that could be taken as a reflected 'y' from the previous element.
Ultimately a kickass design that just did not work for this particular project.
