I've loved airplanes since I was a kid, and as a designer I have become increasingly interested in airplane graphics and the potential for applications of graphic design to aircraft.
So when I found out about the design contest for an enthusiast who had built his own airplane and was looking for a custom paint scheme to outfit the plane with I couldn't resist giving it a try.
This was my first attempt at designing graphics for aircraft and I doubt it will be my last.
