Description: For this brief, I was asked to design a new book cover for Slaughterhouse V by Kurt Vonnegut. My concept took the common imagery of slaughterhouses and related it to the book's content of war. The guns hanging from the rafters resemble slaughtered pigs and remind us of the realities of war. I created handmade illustrations to bring the concept together, layering the pieces in Photoshop.
