Tsumura is one of the largest Japanese pharmaceutical companies, they pioneered the use of herbal remedies in its R&D of new drugs. I developed an identity system incorporating the use of photography, distinctive color palettes and typographic treatments in order to brand each of the 12 brochures within a hierarchy. This approach differed substantially from the previous effort, which tended to dilute the image.
