Update 6-Aug-12 GMT
All,

Thank you for the great designs so far. I will provide significant feedback later tonight as I will be running focus group sessions every 48 hours. I want this to be successful and I want to find a long term partner.

Expect feedback tonight at 10pm 6th August GMT.

Thank you.

James and the Yummy, Mummy! team.
Update 6-Aug-12 GMT
All,

We had a fabulous session discussing the entries so far this evening. In all we spent 3 hours discussing these designs. Thank you.

Here's some feedback

- We need to make sure this looks like one product (not two packages side by side). Please make sure that 'Yummy, Mummy' and the secondary descriptor cuts across both pouches rather than being replicated on both the left and right. Please let me know if that doesn't make sense.
- The focus should be on healthy food, the contents.
- This needs to look premium.

Many thanks for your hard work thus far.

Best regards,

James
Update 8-Aug-12 GMT
All,

I wanted to say thank you to everyone that has participated so far. The quality of designs has been fantastic. Consistent feedback from small focus groups so far suggest parents want

- Appealing photo of a dish you'd want to eat as an adult (therefore you want to give it to your baby)
- Modern design
- A picture of the food is key
- The writing (Yummy mummy) make it clear it is for children
- A hand-written description of the dish suggests home-made food

Granted, this was a small focus group, we will be expanding this again this week.

Thank you for the high level of engagement thus far.

Regards,

Update 9-Aug-12 GMT
All,

Thank you for amazing few days of fantastic designs.

We have completed a preliminary round of testing online in the US, UK and EU via three different online surveys.

24 hours in, we have 105 votes. Our target demographic was mothers or parents. We recognise you can't please people all of the time!

I have attached the feedback verbatim to the project. For now, I am ignoring the relative positioning of the scoring although number 18, 30 and 48 seemed to score well (but the comments show the feedback was split). We have no clear winner as yet.

Some great designs have been sent in this afternoon (61, 64 and 63) which we will most certainly test in the next focus group round.

Thanks for your help, I will upload the PDF document to the project documents section. Take a look at the feedback as it may inspire your individual designs.

If it was my choice I would work with the fast majority of you. Sadly I need to defer to the market.

Regards,

James

Update 15-Aug-12 GMT
Sorry all, I have been unwell. Extending by 2 days.
Update 17-Aug-12 GMT
All,

A huge thank you for your help in developing this project. we have been stunned by the quality of designs and it will prove very difficult to make a decision.

Next steps
We will be making a decision on the final 5 designs (which are from 3 designers) this evening and then have a US focus group who will make the final decision.

We have been very busy working with retailed etc in the US and hope to see this product on shelf before too long.

Thank you for your help. we will make the award within the alloted time frame.

best regards,

James and the Yummy, Mummy! team.
