What do you do?

Newsletter for working women

What is your industry?

education

Describe your audience

Working women in North America -- from all walks of life

How do you intend to use this newsletter (print, email, web, etc.)?

In our enewsletter and archived online.

What 3 things do you want to communicate to your audience through this newsletter?

First -- you're just writing an article for the newsletter -- not the whole thing. I'm just looking to give them some quick, smart tips for how to save money and stretch their paycheck ... which pretty much everyone needs nowadays. This article focuses on saving money at the grocery store ... while still getting healthy, quality food.

Do you have a title for this newsletter?

The working title for the newsletter article is: Grocery Store Budget Stretchers"

What information MUST be included?

I really don't care what the tips are -- my guess is that there could be hundreds. However -- you need to keep it down to a handful of really good practical ones that make a lot of sense. And, remember not everyone is buying for a family: so make sure you write tips that work for the single person ... the home with only two ... and the home with a big family.

What character, tenor or spirit do you want to convey?

Get personal -- a little humor goes a long way ... and be very conversational. Write as though you're talking one-on-one with a really good friend.

What is your required length in words or pages for this newsletter?

250-600 words (could go longer ... but doesn't need to)

Do you want to include additional info?

*Must offer some practical tips
*Content must be original ideas.
*It’s fine to quote a real-life person struggling with this issue -- but we'd prefer such quotes give a limited attribution ... no last name! (e.g. "Mary, a single mom from Peoria says ...) Or -- if quoating a famous person -- give the specific quote and source you acquired the quote from.
