How many different icons do you need designed?

Just one icon for the iPad homescreen.

Do you have specific size requirements for the icons?

I do not want to see cheap designs thrown together with Microsoft paint. The icon should be able to be blown up, or shruken without losing any quality. If I increase the size of the icon, I shouldn't be able to see pixels. Unless ofcourse i'm using the magnifying glass tool.

What icon design styles do you like?

I've attached a png file of our logo. I just need an app icon made. It needs to be made to look like an actual App Store icon. With the square box with the rounded corners and the gloss effect. I want to see all of it. If you don't know what i'm talking about take a trip to the Itunes App Store and check out Snapseed, Zinio, Fancy, or Readibility.

What colors do you want to see in your icon design?

Black background, white inside, with orange somewhere in the image. I want the orange to be subtle. I was thinking maybe having the black be the top layer, the orange being a layer under that, and the white being the bottom, with shadows seperating the 3. But i'm up for anything. I just want to see these colors used conservatively.

What colors do you NOT want to see in your icon design?

anything not black, orange, or white.
