Redesign of iPhone app.
This project is about redesigning the existing iPhone app. The app type is a task management utility with light and fun side to it.
This is a radical redesign with changed layouts and some new screens.
We are looking for a designer who:
- has great, pixel-perfect attention to detail and quality
- have previous professional experience designing mobile apps
- knowledge about UX concepts in mobile app design is a big plus
This project is about graphics design based on provided wireframes. Detailed wireframes provided in attached PDF.
Work scope is 6 unique screens. Most if not all necessary icons are already designed and can be adopted to your design.
For a complete 20 page design brief please see the PDF file attached to the project.
We have more pending projects in app and web design. The designer who win this contest will have our top consideration for future projects.

- We review everyone's portfolio and don't approve everyone because we don't want you to waste your time.
Please make sure that your portfolio contains relevant samples of design of Mobile apps (or link to website with portfolio).
Thank you for understanding.

- After running this contest the question "Is it possible to get high quality design using crowdsourcing?" remains open.
We decided to screen and review portfolios before giving access to the project. that's because we did not want to receive flood of amateur work that will make us spend hours crafting polite replies not to offend anyone's feelings. Not to mention wasting a lot of people's time doing the work that will not pass our review.
A lot of designers don't have portfolios in profile and many don't even have anything except user name.
We understand that crowdSpring is very much about giving a chance to beginners at real work. It wasn't our target, we wanted high quality experienced people. And we still found a lot of high quality experienced designers.
We approved 17 out of 117 applicants, about 14%, higher number than we expected. A lot of interesting designers applied and we were excited for a while.
But out of 17 designers we received actual work only from two. And two more submitted their work but withdrew right away before we could even see it, what's the deal with that?
There were few designers who after being initially denied access emailed us telling how good they are and asking, begging to work on the project. We opened access to them and never received any work from those either.
As for two works we actually received it was uninspired and not following our design brief.
Sorry to end on a sad note but crowdSpring need to grow towards promoting quality over quantity.

- Hi all,
We just wanted to let you know that the buyer in this project has requested a refund. And, because we offer buyers a money back guarantee, sometimes we have to make good on that promise.
To reward the loyal creatives who worked hard on this project and all the others on the site, we've taken the proceeds from this project and used them to fund our monthly cS Awards program. The cS Awards are issued every month based on varying criteria but are a simple way that we give back to the community and reward our creatives.
Thanks so much for participating and see you around the site,
The cS crew
