America's Dog has been around in Chicago since 1996. At that time, my brother (who's a chef) and I came up with the idea of having a hot dog stand that featured hot dogs from around the country. We recently had taken a road trip around America and noticed different cities built, topped their hot dogs differently from city to city....we put it all under one roof, calling it America's Dog. Since that time, America's Dog has evolved into much more. We have 5 FRESH NEVER FROZEN black Angus burgers, g5 freshly grilled chicken sandwiches, 4 salads & wraps. Our fries are fresh & hand cut...so we've evolved the menu but the logo still makes people think we're only hot dogs are are surprised once they come in to see out full menu. We want to do more like grilled cheese, BTL, etc. and think our logo needs to somehow reflect it. We've also like an abbreviated version, AD&G, something to hang in the window (think how Jimmy John's has JJ) that people will recognize and know it's us.
The interior of America's Dog is dark hardwood flooring, the walls are off white paneled wood on the bootm half and the top half are a lady bug red that are covered with pictures of people's road trip. Ceiling is a silver tin ceiling....truly All American
