Creative brief

The buyer added updates to the brief. Read them.

What is the exact name you would like in your logo?

Destination

What is your industry?

Entertainment and Sports

What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?

Young Adult, Action/Adventure, Science Fiction

What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)

Text only with something unusual about it (i.e. claw marks going through it or a bite taken out of it).

No colors please. This is straight white on black (or black on white).

Do you have any other info or links you want to share?

I hesitate to even mention science fiction, because artists instinctively go for a hardcore Sci Fi look. Resist! Think more YA action than anything else.

"Destination" is the name of the series and will go on book covers, comics, video games, t-shirts, etc...

The typography should be easy to read as a thumbnail, but not so simple that it's boring (which is why I'm doing this separate from the cover - it needs to have that wow-factor on its own). I'm looking for something badass!

In the story, the lead kids have to fight all kinds of predatory aliens, which is why I suggested the claw marks or a bite, but if you can think of something else that doesn't require a separate image, I'm open to suggestions.

The font needs to be as unique as possible. Less clean and simple. Hand drawn. If someone else can type it, then I can never trademark it.
