Creative brief

The buyer added updates to the brief. Read them.

What is the exact name you would like in your logo?

IronDAD "fuel for families"

What is your industry?

Other

What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?

family friendly, vegan and healthy eating is important, lifestyle blog

What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)

I really like the "Get Your Guts In Gear" logo and the feel it has. I want the logo to be friendly and welcoming to all people. I also want it to look good in black and white if needed. Another great idea could possibly taking the images of bike, swim and run and making them a dad doing stereotypical dad things...like mowing the lawn or carrying a baby seat or a tie as a symbol.....sorry just brainstorming here. See below for more detail...

Do you have any other info or links you want to share?

I am working on launching a blog called "IronDAD." The tag line is "fuel for families." I am not sure if the tag line will cause too much clutter or not. I have a logo, but it is illegal due to the fact that the iconic ironman "m-dot" symbol is in it. I really like the font that I have for the words "iron" and "dad" though and want to keep that if possible. Open to suggestions though. This blog is for dads, moms, families, parents and athletes. It is a lifestyle blog. I love the look at feel of nomeatathlete.com with a cartoon-like carrot running. I am an ironman, which is obviously a big deal to me, so I want that represented, but not beat over the head. I am vegan. Ideas that I could see would be maybe a silhouette of a family all flexing their muscles. The dad, mom, son and daughter possibly (demographics of my family). I could also see the "i" in "iron" being a tie similar to the original logo that I have uploaded below.

I wanted to add that my hashtags will be @realirondad for twitter and my website will be www.readlirondad.com. Not sure again if that is too much to fit in or not, but just wanted to give that to you. Mostly name and tagline is what I am looking for. Thanks!
