What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?

USApple represents apple growers and marketers across the country in all regions and states. We do public relations, lobbying, crisis communications, health education, you name it. Logo must be creative and inspirational--encourage consumers to buy and eat apples--but also suitable for us to take before Congressional leaders when we are lobbying on crop and agriculture issues. Major audiences include: Our members (apple growers and marketers), consumers, U.S. legislators, restaurant/foodservice, media, and all demographics.

What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)

Image plus text. Must be able to be used large or small, full color or B&W/grayscale. Simple enough for all media platforms, promotional products, etc. Common apple colors include red, green, and yellow. We would be open to two variations: USApple and USApple Association (with a very small emphasis on Association). If possible (but not a requirement) we would like to see alternatives with a tag line "Why stop at one?" In other words, USApple must be the primary logo but we would like to have the other two options to use if possible.

Do you have any other info or links you want to share?

Please help us represent apples with class but in a way that is still fun and enticing for consumers! We want to use this on a new website, our blog, and many consumer platforms in addition to amongst our members and in our lobbying efforts. Attaching current logo so you can see that it is a bit dated and leans more towards the public affairs function than consumer audience.

I am getting all red and blue, which mirrors our existing logo and it not what I were are seeking. I am not opposed to some use of red and blue, but it doesn't fit with our consumer audience at all. Also, please note punctuation and caps that we are requesting:
