Just within the first few entries I can see a couple notes I forgot to mention.
1.) This is not locationing software - so don't use the traditional map pin-marker icon. It's not relevant.
2.) PLEASE submit only ONE version of the same concept. Pick the best version, then allow the comments to guide you on whether to modify the concept.
We are extending the deadline for the project. We have a lot of good entries from some great designers, but nothing that really stands out as nailing the requirements of the brief. We hope that by providing more time and ongoing feedback we will be able to nail a 5 star design.
Quick tips because we're getting a lot of similar submissions.
Lots of designers ar trying to combine a lot of things to make up a design - signal + ground + layers + leaf -- please don't combine a lot of things and try to make it work - it probably won't - we're looking for a clean unique look - the agriculture space is full of very similar designs and we need something fresh
Please try to avoid the obvious - we have a lot of leaves - tons and tons of versions of leaves and wheat. If you're going to have an element of this, make it clever and unique
We have a lot of layers with a plant on top - this is obvious and not working
No Magnifying glasses
these concepts are overdone
No standalone generic shapes - it still has to feel like the logo was designed for the client - and isn't interchangeable with any company.
As we only have a couple of days left, I wanted to make sure it's stated again that please don't use the letter M or map marker icons in the design.
And no eyes please
I just wanted to take a minute to thank everyone who submitted a proposal for this project. I expect to have an award within the next few days. We are reviewing the designs with the client and it's going to be a tough decision because we had some really great designers involved. Thank you all for your time. It was an honor to work with you.
Thank you again to all the designers who have participated. We need more time this week to narrow to a final decision, but hope to finalize this week for sure.
Thank you to all the creatives who entered concepts for this project. I hope to have the pleasure of working with you in the future.
