We are a startup with an iOS app that guides users throughout the entire cooking process in the kitchen. The name SideChef is meant to be a play off of sidekick, being your 'kitchen helper' while you cook. It could also imply your chef aid or assistance while cooking.
Overall, the logo should convey:
1) kitchen helper
2) Some designs focused on the fun and creative nature of cooking.
3) Some designs with a modern minimalistic clean look (perhaps a touch of 'fun' or accents). This may include single colors with different saturation, or two toned...3 at most. Simple would be key for this approach.
** Design should be female friendly, but not turn males away from using the app.
What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)
Image + text and text only are possibilities.
(optional) For the Image + text, having a pixar style vector graphic like small chef or little helper chef (could be ambiguous to what it is...like an alien, or monster, but cute) or something related with a chef's hat could be nice too.
