What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
The creative process with the logo project is about finding a cool image or making the name the image. The print of the name could be PurposePilot or maybe PurposePilot.dk (Danish web site). I would like it to have the subheading “What matters” or “New leadership”.
What is your industry?
Consulting and Professional Services
What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
The logo should communicate profit oriented professionalism (as opposed to the spiritual enterprise), the importance of knowing where you are headed (the purpose) and that high quality solutions are provided and not least implemented. The duality in this is that rationality does not optimize the way we work together…it is a little more complicated than that. The colors are up to your creativity. However, my thought is that the more cold colors would be ideal, e.g. blue as is signals wisdom, coolness and rationality, water, tranquility as opposed to the color red that could overemphasize the purpose part of the name as more of a spherical endeavor. I would like it to be conservative and with straight lines and very businesslike on the other hand I love the more burnt colors, the hippie colors and the more artful creations!
What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)
The company name must be part of the presentation of the logo (Purposepilot), maybe with the internet address as part of the name (Purposepilot.dk). This is to say that an image cannot replace the name. I have seen logos that I really like made on the following recipe: Purpose-Image-Pilot with the subheading written underneath. You are more than welcome to play with the background as well and make that part of the image. This is something I have seen and have been really impressed by.
Do you have any other info or links you want to share?
It is a little difficult for me to judge whether you will need more information about the business itself. I shall be active in updating the brief with additional information if appropriate as we go along. Please do not hesitate to ask, if you need further information or need specific feedback as you go.

- I've thought about what kind of style would be most appropriate. The preferred style could be something like "straight lines, conservative look and not too much silliness". The reason is that the name itself is already challenging for some/most traditional CEOs of the targeted knowledge worker companies. What I am trying to say is that I am aiming for success in a very conservative world with a product that is somewhat less conservative (not to say a completely new way of thinking which may be perceived as "alternative" by some CEOs today). I am very fascinated with fine details as they give the logo an elegant touch in my view. Hope this helps you. Please do not hold back it you have any questions or need more information.

- Thank you for all the designs that I have been so fortunate to receive at this point. I would like to sum up the thoughts I have had while commenting on the various designs. I have found that the images that are placed above the presentation of the name or below tend to give me an impression of a very "heavy" logo. If the image is above or below it should not move away from the middle line very much, and maybe ideally be integrated into the name in some way. The images that can be linked directly to the services of the company will be favored. I have found it difficult to come to terms with images relating to aviation, aero planes and the concept of flying. Images relating to the mind, leadership, thinking etc. may work better. I have also noticed that my heart beats a little faster when commenting the more elegant designs (fine lines/details are welcome) vs. use of the more heavy fonts. I am very impressed with the work you have submitted and I would like to express my gratitude here. I try to show my appreciation by commenting in details as much as I can in a speedy fashion. Thank you so much.

- I am so very impressed with the collaborating mentality of all of you! I have had only a vague idea of the image and the logo I wanted and you have been very helpful in the process of defining what works for me and what does not.
I would like to use this occation with just over 24 hours left of the project period to try to define how the winning image could be characterized.
I would kindly ask you to design an image that lives up to the following criteria: Small, (preferably round), elegant (fine lines or worked through details), placed at the beginning of heading/subheading, sizewise not bigger than the height of the combined heading/subheading. The image could be something that points in a direction, toward a solution etc.. The compass is widely used and might work if presented in an appropriate manner, but I would prefer a more creative design. It could have something to do with water (wisdom).
Thank you all so much:-)

- Thank you for all the designs coming in at a steady rate..I have chosen to extend the project 72 hours to give me sufficient time to get fully organized. Thank you for all the magnificent contributions and overwhelming energy and collaboration. Now that the project is extended I expect to be able to choose the winner shortly after project deadline.
