The logo should communicate trust that we will offer our customers a fair deal - it shouldn´t look expensive, howerver.
It should communicate easy to use, for we will offer an easier and quicker way for them to get insurance.
It should be friendly, for we intend to communicate in a personal and friendly way with our customers.
What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)
We currently are thinking more of a text only logo or with very simple graphics, such as amazon, esurance, allianz, globo.com or itaú. So good typography is king. Nothing too fancy, and perhaps some tweaking on the typography to give it something unique.

We have currently a very early landing page sketch on this address: http://conheca.bomseguro.com/ , which uses the current logo prototype.

Please try to keep the bomseguro part very readable and the .com part not with the same weight.

- Please, when doing a new submission, try to first focus on getting the typeface and any icons you want to add to enhance the trust, protection, friendliness, easiness message.
Refrain from using colors at first, we can add that at later stages.
If you must add colors, we tend to like best the main logo to be blue ( from cyan to navy blue or turquoise, we have not decided on the hue yet). As an accent color you could try gray, red, black or any color that will adequately complement the main blue tone. - 27-Feb-13 8:39 p.m. GMT
- If you want to use icons, try to use some easily recognizeable elements that might help to communicate our main characteristics: trust, protection, friendliness.
Some suggestions:
Umbrella, rising sun, smile, a mascot (dog, elephant, turtle)...
Be creative, come up with your own icon ideas and points of view and do a quick render, I will provide constant feedback and as many iterations as necessary to help you get your concept in a way that we feel that represents our core values. - 8-Mar-13 1:53 a.m. GMT
- We will need to change the name in the logo due to legal reasons. We are requiring an extension to provide you guys with a new name next week. You can still keep posting logos as the things we want to communicate still hold true, the wording will change however.
