Do you have any other info or links you want to share?

1)
Sleepdex is an organization dedicated to sleep issues and sleep culture. It's about educating people about sleep and celebrating sleep as a recreational activity.

Need logo for: Sleepdex
Optional tagline: Rock Thy Brain

Our website is written in a fairly straightforward manner, not flighty, and references a lot of science. It is more in-depth than many sites about medical issues and does not stop at simplistic prescriptions about how people should sleep more. It is not a dumbed down website.

2)
Themes I like (you do not have to use these, but they are ideas)

time
cycle
pattern
mechanism
brain

3)
Stuff I don't want

Fanciful lighthearted representation of sleep as seen in lullaby culture. This includes:

The letter Z (some people use zzzz to represent sleep)
Clouds
Sheep
The Moon
Stars
A human face

Don't use ANY of these.

4)
I like patterns and order.

I don't have a color in mind, but maybe dark red or dark blue or dark green.

I would like the logo to still be easily readable when portrayed all in black, though. That is, it should degrade to all black gracefully.

The website is www.sleepdex.org, but don't necessarily match the website design, which is very old.
