What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?

BOZA stands for Bank of South Africa. It is a Bank for the poor (microfinance) based in Cape Town South Africa, focused on giving those there the opportunity to provide for their family through a small business loan. It is based in one of the poorest areas of the country and the logo needs to appeal to current and potential clients of the bank. It also needs to appeal internationally, particularly in the US, to donors and supporters of the project. When I got the vision for the project, I saw a picture of these small Cape Town homes being grown and then multiplying through what we do. We are really trying to offer people an abundant life through access to opportunity. HOPE, OPPORTUNITY, JUSTICE, LIFE are some of the things we want to communicate.

What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)

Image and text is my preference. I had been thinking of "BOZA" text with some sort of home and/or tree.
