The sky and clouds should be incorporated into the shape of the logo. This means the main colors inside will be sky blue and cloud white.
It could like like a shield. It could like a lock. Both. I have a cartoon character that could hold the logo some times, so if it were in the shape of a shield it would make sense for the character to hold it... The cartoon character is a dog.
I like round shapes vs. square.
