The Discovery Educator Network (DEN) is the teacher community for Discovery Education, a division of Discovery Communications Inc (yes, this includes the Discovery Channel and such). It is a community of over 100,000 educators collaborating to find ways to improve education by integrating digital media in the classroom. Our top evangelists are our 4500+ STAR Discovery Educators. We support them by providing them professional development opportunities and training materials, and then they share the power of Discovery Education with other educators in their school, district and state.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We're looking for a design to use on a T-Shirt, website, and other promotional items for our DENapalooza 2013 Tour. We would like the logo to be used on the front of the t-shirt. We will be hosting 8 events across North America bringing educators together for a day professional development and networking at each location.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Tech-savvy educators. Primarly, our audience is K-12 teachers and tech coordinators. We are a tight community that works hard but also plays hard.
What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)

We're looking at this like a concert tour. Our shirts will also have the locations of the events, still to be determined, on the back. A fun font for DENapalooza would be great, perhaps something like the Lollapalooza lettering. Our teachers are very tech saavy, many use iPads, iPods, laptops, and other mobile devices. Perhaps using some of these images would be great.
We have attached images that can be used- our active members are referred to as DEN STARs and we have a logo of the STAR we use attached.

We need to try to incorporate our current color scheme if possible. Adding additional colors is okay.
