Here are some examples (just to clarify) of the soviet constructivist look I'm going for in regards to style (particularly that of the robot design).

#1 perfectly encapsulates what I'm looking for: love the simple design using only a few colors, and how Lenin is looking to the future. #2 is great too, especially in terms of the simplified lines, and two-tone color scheme.

In both examples please note how the artist depicts Lenin (using lighting, facial orientation, and style), to suggest that he is a bold, and powerful leader.

And since I've gotten some robot queries - here's an example of a good jumping off point in terms of robot look:

The robot should have a slightly dated look, feel humanoid, maybe throw in some steam-punk influence, but I wouldn't get too complex with it. I want something that is recognizable in silhouette. (less)
