I do not want the acronym "HJ" to appear in the main logo. I would like the focus to be on the Haiku element. There needs to be a feeling of naturalness in the logo. Haiku poems were originally based on nature, so this is something that could be incorporated. One idea is through a colourful Japanese bonsai tree- this ... (more)

I would like the focus to be on the Haiku element. There needs to be a feeling of naturalness in the logo. Haiku poems were originally based on nature, so this is something that could be incorporated.

One idea is through a colourful Japanese bonsai tree- this conveys the haiku aspect as well as the colour from painting/photos.

Another idea is a jar of jam with a haiku written on the front, either in English or Japanese.
