Our logo needs to be identifiable in a market with many competitors, branding is key. Also, when developing the logo ideas, keep in mind that will eventually consider adding this logo to tools we develop using something like "Powered by Santa Cruz IT". Santa Cruz is the city we're located in and IT stands for Information Technology.

- Due to the holidays and less than expected results with enough time to give feedback, we've decided to extend the competition to allow participants to respond to some late feedback

- Some of the logos have presented ideas with the use of binary representations - I like this idea, it's rather interesting and attractive. Some binary models you might want to consider would be a binary representation of things like: 831 or SCIT. A nice binary representation of either of these could make up the symbolic portion of the logo and with some nice styling could be quite unique and interesting.
