What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)

Preferred style is image + text;
Vertical dimensions of the logo should be compact relative to horizontal (long landscape) , as the logo will be used on web site header and we need a lot of space for the content.
"Challenge your comfort zone" should be the subtitle, and should be separable so we can omit it in some versions (e.g. for smaller versions).
Main use will be web site logo, but we may also use it for swag (hats, mugs...)
Invertible logo is a plus (dark and light versions, or monochrome light and dark versions).
Any design that cannot be easily embroided or printed on a 4-color press won't work. No gradients.
Light green and light blue color schemes are preferred (see site), but we are open to others.
Spark/s can be a visual element, but don't have to be.
Should be easy to craft a favicon out of the logo. Including a favicon is a plus.
svg format (in addition to png and eps) is a plus, but not required.

By the way, we are in the process of re-doing our web site design so please excuse the old design which is going away in a few days.

a couple of updates:
1. The motto should be "challenging your comfort zone" as most designer correctly saw by looking at the site.
2. While I stated in the original brief that gradients are not acceptable, it is absolutely fine to include subtle textures, shadows and gradients, assuming a "clean" version is provided as well, which looks close enough to the original. That way we can use the more elaborate version for the site, and the "clean" version for printing.

We are a few hours from the finish line and I'm getting many entries, which is great, but I cannot promise detailed feedback on each since this would require too much time.
