Creative brief

The buyer added updates to the brief. Read them.

What is the exact name you would like in your logo?

Nu Crepes

Do you have any other info or links you want to share?

Nu Crepes will be a fast-casual restaurant serving crepes as a healthy fast-food alternative. Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, we take a classic dish, but put "Nu" flair on it; we don't offer your run of the mill crepe. Diners can expect to see menu items like "Kickin' Chicken"(buffalo chicken), "The Sticky Pig" (peanut butter & bacon) and "CinnaBomb"(cinnamon roll). This is a young business (management/restaurant) trying to create a fun, urban, dining experience for everyone

What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?

healthy alternative, contemporary, unique

What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)

Text + Image. I need the logo to stand out and easily identified. I would like "Nu Crepes" to be included as a minimum. I do like the idea of a mirror image "NU"; see attached files. The rest is open to you. Have fun!

I know that I like the idea of a mirrored "NU", but you don't need to uphold to that. Do what you think looks good. Do what you do best. Good luck and keep at it.

Note: NU Crepes will always be a fresh and "NU" restaurant. To ensure this, we will feature a new crepe every month, so as to pique people's interest and keep them coming back.. Hope this helps with some design concepts. Thanks!

In case you are unfamiliar with crepes:

The ideas keep flooding in and I'm enjoying the enthusiasm and efforts. ONE note: while some designs are very innovative, they also need to be able to transfer mediums well. This logo should be able to print to shirts, business cards, awnings, door signs, etc. without too much efforts. So, with that being said, try to limit your designs to a 3 color maximum (printing costs), and also stay away from gradient (unless very well executed). Keep up the work everyone!

With the impending deadline, I'm starting to see some real progress on revised designs as well as new entries. This is going to make my decision hard, but I know I'll have a great assortment to choose from.

I'll try and get back to those with new submissions ASAP, but in the meantime keep up the great work! Thanks.

With only a handful of hours left, I'm starting to see some pretttty awesome entries. I won't be able to comment for the remainder so put your best creative foot forward and just trust yourself that you are submitting some truly different logos from the rest. Good luck and keep up the work!
