Creative brief

LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

We're a very established sports forum founded in 1999. We're known for our sports acumen, passion and personality-driven chatter. For a vast majority of our users, it's a place to idle throughout the day and talk about whatever.

We're known as a Red Sox site but have, over the past few years, expanded beyond just the Red Sox (although the Sox talk still accounts for the vast majority of the traffic volume)

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

A logo that will look good on multiple colors. A lot of our existing material is either red or dark blue. Something distinctive would be best, meaning more than just the words with a little logo. Yet at the same time I've seen a lot of logos which really try to grab attention. I think our needs could best be described as understated coolness.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

typically men 18-50
Interesting, open to discussions: fun
Smart
Most of all, passionate about sports.

90% of our traffic is also interested in other Boston Sports.
