What do you do?

MindTap Technologies is a managed services provider (definition: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Managed_services#M...). We 1) support the day-to-day information technology needs and (2) provide strategic IT consulting for companies that have under 100 users.

We use industry best practices and training to ensure that the best 'Minds' are on our client's business. Our 'best of breed' processes lower our clients risk and makes technology a valued area that's worry-free.

What is the exact name you would like in your logo?

MindTap Technologies (maybe MindTap Technologies, Inc. on business card)

You'll receive designs for biz cards, letterhead and envelopes.

This is a new company name for our established company. We need a logo, business cards, letterhead, envelope, and icons (for browser favico and Windows notification area icon.)

Our target audience consists of small business (<100 users)

Expert knowledge, partnership/collaboration, business acumen

What logo and stationery styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?

text + image, we do not want overwhelming image

What colors do you want to see in your logo and stationery?

Our previous logo used dark gray and orange (www.exclamake.com) and we like those colors, but this is not a requirement. We prefer a design that will be clear and readable across online and printed media.

What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo and stationery?

no pink!

What adjectives should best describe your logo and stationery?

simple, clear, modern

Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?

Logo will be used on print marketing collateral, email newsletters, and website (website redesign project to start after logo project)

Completed first 'round' of scoring... this is our first cs project, so hope we weren't too negative. Thanks everyone for hard work, we're seeing great designs, still looking for something that says 'bang'.

One thought, we're using tap to mean a device by which flows can be controlled. (synonyms: faucet, spigot, plug). our own brainstorming sessions were trying to figure out how to represent tapped minds without it being too busy or childish looking. we see some submissions working for this and look forward to more or ideas that build on the idea of our knowledge at work
