Develop custom software for other companies and help them get the most out of their IT investments
1 illustration that shows a 3 step process
1 illustration of 2-3 houses of cards of different sizes, preferably in 3D (but we are open to any kind of illustration). One where you see a house of cards, one where you see on card being removed and one where the house of cards have collapsed.
We wil need the illustrations for use on our web site and in powerpoint presentations. The should be vector based (so we can scale the exported images as we need). We need the images as both the vector format (so they can be editited/tweaked afterwards) in Adobe Illustrator as well as high resolution (e.g. 2560x1600) transparent background PNG's
Software and InfoTech
The target audience is IT management, system and and enterprise architects and to some extend also developers.
A little background. Many or our customers and prospects have been used to having a number of smaller independent IT systems to support their business meaning that the users often had to jump between different systems with different behaviors and also had to type in the same information in several places. In order to make better solutions for the users, these stand- alone systems have been service enabled and integrated, i.e. a layer have been put on top of all of them, so, viewed from the outside, it is only one system with a common behavior.
This brings os to the problem. If one of the independent system fails you can still work on the others, but when you integrate everything, the risk of everything failing if just small piece fails is very high and that can bring your whole business to a halt.
We would like to illustrate that vulnerability using houses of cards.
1. Using the house of cards metaphor should illustrate vulnerability
2. Small houses of cards are easy to build and repair, large ones are not
3. Removing only one card will make everything collapse, no matte the size
We would like to have a 3D style house of cards in different sizes.
Small ones, e.g. 3 stories high, that illustrates individual systems. It should be possible to change the colour of the back of the cards to illustrate different systems. We also need illustrations where you can see one card being removed and another one where the house of cards have collapsed.
The large house of cards where the independent systems form above, are at the bottom and the integration layers are built on top. It should be possible to change the colours of the back of the cards to illustrate which system it belongs to. We also need the traw "lines" between the stories of the house of cards to illustrate the technical layers in the system. Here we also need illustrations where you can see one card being removed and another one where the house of cards have collapsed.
If possible. I would like to have our company name and logo on the back of the cards and perhaps change the colour of that to show where the "card" belongs to.
Please use my rather naive hand drawing as an example. I have also put up an illustrator file with our logo
I have enclosed our colour palette for reference
Heavy and dark colors
Simple, simple, simple clean and light in the choice of colors.
On our web site and in powerpoint presentations
